What to Expect
Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure for your Brisbane Story Bridge Adventure climb, departing from the base headquarters at Howard Smith Wharves. After your expert guide outlines the route and delivers a comprehensive safety briefing, you’ll be securely attached to the static safety line.
Begin your ascent along the eastern side of this iconic bridge, following your guide up a steep incline to a top platform—one of the climb’s two highest points, reaching approximately 262 feet (80 meters) above sea level. From here, enjoy uninterrupted 360-degree views of the city skyline, especially stunning during twilight climbs, with sweeping vistas of the Brisbane River, Moreton Bay, the Glass House Mountains, Mt. Coot-tha, and Lamington National Park in the distance.
From the central platform, cross the full width of the bridge high above six lanes of traffic before descending back to headquarters. Your adventure concludes with a complimentary high-resolution group photo to commemorate the experience.
